What Kind of Christian Are You? (Part 2)
In our last article we described Thermometer Christians. We will continue in this article and will now describe Thermostat Christians.

-
Thermostat Christians are Christians not by name only, but by works as well. James says in James 2:17, “Faith without works is dead.”
-
Thermostat Christians make a change in the temperature of their environment.
-
When backbiting begins, they refrain and instead use edifying words.
-
When confronted with anger, they answer softly and not in wrath.
-
They walk to the beat of the Holy Spirit.
-
They are the ones who walk an extra mile for the church.
-
They are the ones who would wake early in the morning to open the church, and they leave last to make sure that everything is in order.
-
They are the ones that stand out from among the crowd.
-
When they pray, they don’t pray like the Pharisees, but they pray like the tax collector, and yet God is able to hear their prayers.
-
In book Education, page 57 it says, “The world’s greatest need, the world’s greatest want is the want of men, men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle is to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.”
In our next article we will look at how to become a Thermostat Christian.
